Gorgeous sunset on the Israeli - Syrian border. The sign that you can't read in the sunset picture is the white sign showing the distances from the northern Israeli border to these places. Sunset on Har Bental, like so many things in Israel, seem so full of contradictions! The quiet and peace that we feel as we watch the sun disappear over the horizon, while knowing the tragedies unfolding 60 km away in Damascus, Syria. One can't help but pause and send out a special prayer for all of the innocent caught in an unforgiving crossfire! Wishing everyone a beautiful, peaceful weekend!
