While I am not taking tours at this time (and miss it terribly), I did want to let you know about the new travel requirement for Israel as of August 1, 2024. It is called ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) and all travelers from visa-exempt countries must have it before departing for Israel.
The pilot phase will begin June 1st for US and German passport holders only. All other nationalities begin applying as of July 1, 2024.
Details:
With the new system, holders will be able to use the electronic check-in machines that are now available only to Israeli citizens. A much more expedited process.
Pilot Phase: This offering tests the system and evaluates the application process. Yes, you are offering to be a guinea pig but the fee will be waived! (not huge savings but it's something :-)
Visitors with an ETA-IL can stay up to 90 days in Israel
The ETA-IL is valid for up to 2 years or until your passport expires (in which case
The cost will be USD 7 / $10 CAD

People are asking ... When will I start taking groups back to Israel?
I wish I had a crystal ball! The hostages need to be brought home and security needs to return to all borders. With that, I truly hope for a new plan for hopeful leadership for a peaceful future for both Israelis and Palestinians.
Let's keep hope alive!
